Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (born May 2, 1972) is an American actor, wrestler, singer, and businessman. A WWE part-timer and one of the greatest wrestlers ever, he helped shape the WWF’s Attitude Era. After wrestling full-time for eight years, he turned to acting, with films grossing over $12.5 billion worldwide, making him a top-earning actor. He co-owns the United Football League, serves on TKO Group Holdings’ board (UFC and WWE’s parent company), and co-founded Seven Bucks Productions. Johnson played football at the University of Miami, winning a national championship in 1991, but went undrafted in the 1995 NFL draft and was cut from the Calgary Stampeders.
