I (36F) and my husband (42M) planned a romantic Malibu villa weekend, costing a lot with special arrangements like a couples massage and private chef. His four kids (19, 17, 15) from his ex-wife, who’ve been cold to me, surprised us by arriving unannounced. My husband welcomed them without consulting me, canceling our plans and giving them the guest wing. I was upset, feeling our rare time together was ruined. I suggested he arrange other accommodations, but he dismissed me, prioritizing his kids. The next morning, I calmly asked the kids to pay for their stay or leave, explaining it was a romantic getaway.
