Dick Van Dyke, 99, and wife Arlene Silver, 53, are staying put in their Malibu home despite Southern California wildfires. Arlene shared on Instagram Live that their home is safe, though their guest house had minor fire damage. Powerless due to the Palisades fire, they’re using a gas generator and camper for cooking and charging devices. Arlene is focused on keeping Dick warm and entertained without Wi-Fi. Despite challenges, Dick feels most comfortable at home. Last month, they safely evacuated from the Franklin fire with neighbors’ help, and Van Dyke confirmed their safety on Facebook.
