My Dad Invited My Brother and Me to His Wedding to the Woman He Cheated on Our Mom With – He Had No Idea He’d Regret It Soon

When my dad invited my 12-year-old brother Owen and me to his wedding with Dana, the woman who broke up our family, I dreaded the day. I’m Tessa, 25, still grappling with our parents’ divorce after Dad’s affair. Owen, once a joyful kid, had grown quiet, his innocence fading. Mom suffered deeply, losing weight and crying over small triggers, while Dad moved on quickly.

Despite Owen’s initial refusal, family pressure convinced him to attend. I noticed his odd request for itching powder weeks earlier but didn’t question it. At the wedding, Owen subtly slipped the powder into Dana’s jacket. During the ceremony, she became visibly uncomfortable, scratching frantically before fleeing to change. The mood soured, and the event felt rushed.

Later, Dad confronted me, confused about Dana’s reaction. I didn’t confess. Owen admitted he wanted Dana to feel humiliated, like Mom did. Now, Dad’s furious, and his family calls us “evil.” I haven’t apologized. I didn’t plan it, but I let it happen—and I don’t regret it.
