A woman walks into Cabela’s to buy a fishing rod and reel

A woman buys a fishing rod and reel at Cabela’s for her son’s birthday, unsure of what to choose. At the counter, a blind clerk, relying on sound, identifies the gear as a 6-foot Shakespeare rod with a Zebco 404 reel, on sale for $20. Impressed, she agrees to buy it. As she drops her MasterCard, the clerk identifies it by sound. Embarrassed, she farts while picking it up, thinking he won’t know it’s her. At checkout, the total is $34.50. Confused, she questions the price. The clerk explains: the rod and reel are $20, but the “Duck Call” is $11, and the “Catfish Bait” is $3.50. She pays and leaves.
