My wife had another car mishap today. When the police arrived, she was furious, insisting the man she’d hit was entirely reckless.

“He was on his phone!” she fumed. “And to top it off, he was sitting there, drinking a beer!”

The officer, barely hiding a grin, replied calmly, “Ma’am, he’s allowed to do that… in his own living room.”
