During a walk with his daughter, he experienced severe pain that medication initially couldn’t relieve. A special drug eventually eased his discomfort, leading him to briefly believe he was dying due to the vivid, peaceful sensations it induced. Fortunately, it was just the medication’s effects, and the surgery was successful with no serious underlying issues found. Sajak has recovered well, returned to hosting, and humorously noted his co-host Vanna White’s enjoyment of the role, though he plans to keep his spot.
