A Mother’s Revenge

The wedding had been beautiful—at least on the surface. My daughter, glowing in her white gown, stood beside the man she believed was her soulmate. The guests cheered, the champagne flowed, and happiness filled the air. But beneath that joyous façade, a terrible betrayal was unfolding.

During the reception, I noticed something odd. My daughter’s fiancé and her bridesmaid, Lily, whispered and exchanged glances far too often. Then, to my horror, I saw them sneak off toward the bathrooms together. Suspicion gnawed at me, and against my better judgment, I decided to follow them.

Peeking around the corner, my heart shattered. There they were—kissing, lost in their own world. But what I heard next was worse than anything I could have imagined.

“I can’t wait to leave her, babe,” he murmured.

“Patience, honey,” Lily replied with a smirk. “Just stay married for a while. Then you’ll divorce your wife, and we’ll get those millions!”

They laughed, treating their cruel scheme like some kind of twisted joke. My blood boiled, but I forced myself to stay silent. Confronting them now wouldn’t be enough. No, I needed a plan—a way to expose their betrayal at the perfect moment.

So I waited. I watched. And when my daughter left for work one morning, I made my move. Driving to her house, I had a sinking feeling I knew what I’d find. Sure enough, her husband and Lily were there, cozy and comfortable in my daughter’s home.

That was all the proof I needed. With my phone camera recording, I pushed the door open and let them see me standing there.

“Smile,” I said coldly. “Because soon, the whole world will know what you’ve done.”
